Thomas Sumner Osborn, son of E. 0 and the late Mary L. Austin Osborn, was born in Knoxville, November 14, 1904. and died at his home in Knoxville. Sunday. April 17, 1959, age 51 years, 5 months and 5 days.
He became a member of the First Christian Church in his youth and spent his entire life in Knoxville. He attended and graduated from the local schools. and was a graduate in Pharmacy from the State University of Iowa.
He was united in marriage to Lillian Kissinger on January 1, 1928, and to them were born two daughters, Mary Margaret and Kathleen.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1950 He had been associated with his father, E. 0. Osborn, in the drug store all of his adult life.
He is survived by his father, E. O. Osborn, his wife, Lillian, a daughter, Mrs. William Goff, all of Knoxville; and a daughter. Mrs. Alfred Loreto, of New York City. Also two grandsons, Steven and Tracy Goff of Knoxville.
Funeral services were held at the First Christian church, Tuesday, April 21 at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Alva T. Browning. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.
