A Celebration of life will be held March 25 for Sally Joan (Sutherland) Anson of Eugene, who died March 15,2001 of cancer. She was 65.
She was born April 27, 1935 in Iowa City, Iowa to Pat and Juanita Morgan Sutherland.
She married Arnold Anson in Bingen, Wash. on July 11, 1953.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, gardening, music, rock collecting, bird watching, her cats, her grandchildren, and wildlife.
She attended high school in Knoxville, Iowa. She moved to Eugene in 1953 and lived in Salem from 1955 to 1957 before returning to Eugene.
Survivors include here husband, her stepmother Avis Sutherland of Albany, five sons;
Patrick, Michael of Redding, CA, Gregory and Todd both of Eugene, Timothy of Trabuco Canyon, CA and Gary of Cheshire, a daughter Delayne Anson-Stubbs of Eugene, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Sundays service will be at 2:00 pm at Chapel of Memories Funeral Home.
