Funeral services for Reese Kading, who died Jan.2 at Methodist hospital, Rochester, Minn. were held Jan. 4 from Evans Arlington Chapel with Rev. Carl E. Wilson officiating.

Burial was in Graceland cemetery under auspices of Knoxville I.O.O.F Lodge No. 90. Casket-bearers were Hugh Jones Jr., R.J. Carle, Pete Worstell, Don Bingaman, Dan Speed and Noel Frazier. Mrs. Lester Odum was organist. Reese Herman, son of Herman L. and Blanche Kading, was born at Knoxville, May 8, 1904.

He attended the public schools, graduating in 1923. He spent his entire life on the farm where he was born.

His major interest was raising Hereford cattle. He was a member of First Methodist Church and the Odd Fellow lodge. His father preceded him in death.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Blanche Kading; two sisters Mrs. Frank O. Dixon and Vera Kading; one brother, Howard L. all of Knoxville; four nephews and one niece.

Reese Hermon Kading was born May 8, 1904 in Iowa the son of

Herman L Kading (1873 – 1935) and

Blanche E Heavner Kading (1874 – 1964)

His father was born in Missouri, and his mother was born in Iowa.

Reese died January 2, 1964 in Rochester Minnesota.
