Graveside services for Marcia Allene (Foster) Harmon, 64, of Knoxville, who died June 3, 2004 in Iowa City, were held June 5, at Graceland Cemetery. Rev. Kathy Sides officiated at the services.

Marcia was born on July 13, 1937, in Lucas County. She was one of three children born to Wilma Marie Beebout and Loa Alvin Foster. She attended school and graduated in 1955 from Knoxville High School. She worked in Knoxville and later in Des Moines.

In October 1962 she married Mack Harmon. The couple moved to California where Mack died in 1972.

Allene returned to Knoxville in 1983. During her younger years, she enjoyed playing golf. She loved animals and usually had a small dog. She had several shelties and miniature poodles over the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mack. She is survived by two brothers, Alvin Foster and wife Gail, and Terry Foster, all of Knoxville; two nieces and one nephew; and two aunts, Clella Ogle of Hartford, Conn., and Zelma Beebout.
