Donald William "Bill" Dennison was born April 20, 1916 on the family farm in Washington Township, Marion County, Iowa.

He was one of seven children born to Grace Gertrude Bonifield and Elijah Summers Dennison. Bill attended country schools and the Knoxville High School. On May 12, 1940 Bill was united in marriage to Bereniece LaBurnia Campbell.

Two sons were born to bless their union
Donald Duane was born in 1945 and Daniel William was born 1949 to bring so much happiness to their home.

Bill was a farmer. Farming was his ministry. He liked the simple things in life; the newborn calves, a new litter of pigs, planting seeds in the spring, seeing the seeds grow and mature and the great harvest of the big yellow ears of corn in the fall.

He loved to work with his neighbors in haying and harvesting. Bill's word was his bond. If he told you something. you could be sure it would be as he said. Bill had great respect for his God and prayed many times each day.

Bill went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 18, 2004 at the age of 88 years, one month and 28 days.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son Donald; four brothers; two infant sisters.
