Services for Lowell J. Hedrick, of Bartlesville, OK., who died July 6, 1982, in Bartlesville, were held at the
First Presbyterian Church there.
Rev. John W. Vinson officiated at the services.
Mr. Hedrick was born April 5, 1925 in Knoxville.
he received his education in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School.
Following high school, he was active during W.W. II serving with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.
He continued his education, graduating with a degree in business transportation from the Universtiy of Tennessee.
He was married to Ruth Hunter in 1946 in Knoxville.
He was associated with Phillips in 1952, as a regional director of the supply and distribution.
They made their residence in field office locations for over 20 years.
He returned to Bartlesville in 1977.
He was a memeber of the First Presbyterian Church and of the Eastside Kiwanis club.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth H. Hedrick of Bartlesville; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Zimmerman, Salt Lake City, Utah and Miss Kathleen Hedrick, San Luis Obispo, Cal.;
The Lowell J. Hedrick Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in Mr. Hedrick’s memory with the Univesity of Tennessee, and those who wish to contribute in his memory may contact Jean Hoskinson, First National Bank, P.O. Box 999, Bartlesville, OK 74003.
Services were held July 6, 1982 at Merle Hay Mausoleum Chapel. Burial was in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
