Funeral services for Juanita Winona (Covey) Goff, 87, of Knoxville, who died on Saturday,
November 4, 2000, at her home, were held on Wednesday, November 8, 2000, at Evans-McCleery
Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Rev. Steve Bagby officiated at the services. Music was provided by Gina Beal, organist, and JoEsther Bryson, Annette Rumley, and Joyce Rumley,
soloists. The interment was at Lincoln Cemetery in Marion County.

Casket bearers were Mike and Mark Goff, Kevin and Chris Houser, and Jason and Jacob Reed. Honorary casket
bearers were Reuben and Gary Corner, Nick Woolsey, Jed Reed, and Jimmy Goff. Honorary
casket bearers in heaven were Jamie Rankin and Bryan Goff.

Juanita was born on August 14, 1913, in Marion County, the daughter of Ernest and Myrtle Fee Covey. She graduated
from Knoxville High School in 1930 and received her Certificate of Teaching from William Penn College in Oskaloosa. She taught for four years in country schools
in Marion County.

She married Jim Orville Goff on May 2, 1936, in Newton. They lived their entire married lives in Marion County. In addition to being a mother and homemaker, she was involved
with her husband in the farming business for 45 years. She enjoyed babysitting her many grandchildren, quilting, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of Zion Methodist
Church in Pershing, the Liberty Garden Club, and Knoxville Retired Teachers.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters; two brothers; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marion and Gaye, and Richard and Karen, all of Knoxville; five daughters and two
sons-in-law, Susan and Richard Rowland, Linda Goff, and Joyce Goff, all of Knoxville, Jane Rankin of Monroe, and Martha and John Reed of Melcher-Dallas; 22 grandchildren;
and 30 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Marion County Friends of 4-H.
