Funeral services for Howard LaFayette Crozier, 87, of Tracy, who died February 1, at the Mahaska County Hospital in Oskaloosa, were held February 4, 199S, at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Marion County.

Pastor Ron Hall officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist, and Rev. Jane Shrover, vocalist. Pallbearers were Don De Jong, Carroll Hoksbergen, Terry Keener, Bryce Kelderman, Fred Kindley, La Verne Pyle, Wayne Renaud, and Jim Sytsma.

Howard was born October 22, 1910, in Knoxville, the son of Grace Baughman and Fred Crozier. He grew up in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1929. After school, he began farming. working as a hired hand for less than a dollar a day.

He was united in marriage to Lillie Mae Clark on September 12, 1932. in Knoxville. He was a farmer and was baptized in the Knoxville United Methodist Church. He also served two terms on the Tracy School Board. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Leland; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, of Tracy; a son, Larry of Pella; four grandchildren,
and six great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Marion County 4-H Clubs.
