Funeral services for Leon A. Langebartels, 66, of Florissant, Mo., who died January
30, at his, home, were held February 2, 1998 at St. Mark's Methodist Church in
Florissant.
Burial will be at a later date. The Rev. Barbara Phifer officiated
at the services: Pallbearers were Troy Mathis, Harold Dyer, Ralph Dyer, Mike
Mattson, Tim Reed, and Dave Wulf.
Leon was born May 13, 1931, Knoxville, the son
of Lyle Langebartels (1906-1968) and Esther Viola Den Hartog (1907-1992).
He was united in marriage to Martha Dyer on September
2, 1951. He lived in the St. Louis, Mo., area most of his life.

He is survived by
his wife; three daughters, Luann Mattson, Lisa Reed, and Linda Wulf and eight
grandchildren.
