Duane W. Boothe, 78, of Albany, Mo. died Monday, June 9, 2003, at an Albany nursing
home.

He was born Dec. 24, 1924, in Knoxville, the son of John and Dessie (Hart)
Boothe.

He married Twila Newman on Dec. 26, 1955. For 30 years Duane was manager
for the Rigney Theater in Albany and also worked as a T.V. repair technician. He
was a WWII Army veteran and American Legion member. He is survived by his wife,
Twila Boothe of Albany; son, Jim of Albany; sister, June Holder of Des Moines; and
several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held June 11 at the Roberson Polley Chapel
in Albany. The body has been cremated and inurnment will be held at a later date
at the Grandview Cemetery in Albany.

Memorials may be made to the Albany Boy Scout
Troop No. 102 or American Cancer Fund in care of the funeral chapel.
