Dora L. Reed Thomas, 61, a sales clerk, was born in Mitchellville, Iowa, Jan 24, 1925, the daughter of Floyd and Dollie (Hampton) Reed.
Moving with her family to Knoxville in 1931, she graduated from Knoxville High School in 1942.
She married Wallace Daniel Thomas on April 19, 1942, in Unionville, Mo.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville. She and Wally had two children.
Dora died of cancer Monday, July 28, 1986, at her home.
Interment at Graceland. Rev. John L. Beebout officiated the service. Music was provided by Geoff Schultz, the organist.

Pallbearers were Merle Schlotteback, Barney Darnell,
Kenny DeZwarte, Dale Randol, Cleo Cooney & Paul Allen.
Dora was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Myron Reed in Nov. 1972 and her mother, Dollie Elizabeth (Hampton) Reed in February 1983 and her brother, Robert O. Reed of Granada Hills California in Aug. 1983.
She is survived by her husband Wally, One son, Wallace Daniel (Dan) Jr., of El Cajon, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Tom (Pat) Kading of Knoxville; four grandchildren, Scott & Kris Kading and Brian Thomas, three nephews; two nieces; one great-niece; and seven great-nephews.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Williams Funeral Home. Clergyman Rev. John L. Beebout.
Burial in Graceland Cemetery.
