Funeral services for Donald Lee Voyce, 69, of Knoxville, who died September 2, 1997
at the home of his daughter in lowa City, were held September 5. 1997, at Evans-
McCleery Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville. The Rev. Bob Ward officiated at the
services. Pallbearers were Thomas Voyce, Dale Voyce, Christopher Hall, Robert Curry
Jr., Mark Voyce, Chuck Young, Frank Dagger and Chick Rankin. Honorary bearers were
Charles Voyce, Frank Gedney, Robert Curry Sr., and Michael Fanelli.

Donald was born April 27, 1928, in Oskaloosa, the son of Charley H. and Ethel M.
Farrin Voyce. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1946. He was canteen officer
at the VA Hospital in Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Ralph He is survived by three
daughters. Pamela Gedney of Iowa City. Cynthia Voyce of San Angelo, Texas. and Charlene
Voyce of Clinton, Conn, three brothers, Charles of Santa Maria Calif., Thomas of
Iowa City and Dale of Knoxville, a sister Billie Curry of La Habra, Calif., and
ten grandchildren.
