David Paul Flattery, age 62, of Knoxville, IA, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at his home. Dave was born June 4, 1956, in Chariton, IA to Louis and Martha Flattery.
He was raised in Knoxville and attended Knoxville High School class of 1975.
Dave had a great love for the road and the outdoors. He could talk the ear off of a stranger and had a great deal of enthusiasm for his 4-legged friends.
Dave’s greatest joy was his family and friends, especially his grandson Clayton.
Dave is survived by his wife Janet, daughters: Michele Flattery (Rick Dingeman) and her son Clayton Flattery, Brooke (Kyle) Mott and their daughters Ivy and Eva Mott, and son Weston Flattery. Parents Louis and Martha Flattery. Brothers Mike (Donna Jean) Flattery, Pat (Denise) Flattery, Jerry (Donna Joy) Flattery, John (Dawn) Flattery, Paul (Lisa) Flattery, Russell Flattery, sister Marilyn (Doug) Spaur, and many other family and friends.
Memorials may be given to David’s family and will be distributed in his memory with love.
