Cerena Kay (Hatch) Hoskins age 55 of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, September 22,
2012 at the Pella Comfort House of Pella, Iowa.
Cerena was born February 26, 1957, in Oskaloosa the daughter of Robert and Rebecca
Jean May Hatch. She was a graduate of Knoxville High School, Class of 1975, and was
a lifelong resident of Knoxville.
Cerena worked in and around the Knoxville area all her life. She was currently employed with the Des Moines V.A. Hospital in the Food Service Department.
Cerena is survived by her children Adam (Ashley) Claver of Knoxville, Aaron (Jerusha) Claver of Melcher-Dallas, and Danelle (Wesley Hildebrant) Purdy of Knoxville; and eight grandchildren, Kael, Karson, Dathan, Kinnyck, Karver, Gabriella, Anaiah, and Sophia.
Cerena is also survived by two brothers Steve (Nancy) Hatch and Bill (Carol) Hatch both of Knoxville; and two sisters Rhonda (Myron) Thompson and Donna (Jerry) Flattery both of Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Becky Hatch; spouses Randy McCoy and John Hoskins; her nephew Benny Hatch; and her grandson Lukas Beck.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at the Riverside Community Church of Knoxville. Elder Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow services at Graceland Cemetery of Knoxville.
Visitation for Cerena will be held from 3 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville.
Cerena’s family will be present from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
A memorial has been established for Cerena’s family or to the Pella Comfort House.
