Carroll Ray Bittner, 72, originally of Knoxville, Iowa, who passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg, Oregon.
According to his wishes, Carrol was cremated and no services have been planned.
Carroll was born, on December 12, 1943, the son of Marceline Nola Wallace and Frank Elmer Bittner in Knoxville, Iowa. He was one of six children in the family. Carroll grew up in Knoxville and attended Knoxville High School with the Class of 1962.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles Bittner who died July 17, 1994, and two sisters, Beverly (Gonzalez) who died March 8, 1999, and Janice (Anderson) who died December 24, 1999, and a brother-in-law, James Onstank.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Stauffer of Roseburg Oregon,

Clayton Bittner of Chariton, IA; two sisters, Barbara Onstank and Genia (Dwayne) Robuck of Knoxville, IA.
