Bernice Keeton Job Crane was born on Dec. 23, 1904, in Pleasantville, the daughter
of Dr. A.F. and Ethel Hayes Keeton.

She graduated from Knoxville High School in
1923 and attended the Girl's Collegiate School in California. She received her Bachelor's
Degree from Drake University in 1969. Bernice taught school for many years in Knoxville
prior to her retirement. She was an active member of the First United Methodist
Church. She played the organ, sang in the choir, and taught Sunday school. She organized
and was a charter member of the Mentor Study Club and was a 50-year member of Chapter
M, P.E.O.

Bernice passed away on Nov. 6, 2008, at Griffin Nursing and Rehabilitation
Center in Knoxville, at the age of 103.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by, her husband, Eldon Job and Russell Crane; her son Lewis Job; her daughter-in-law,
Nancy Job; her grandson, Matthew Job; and her brother, Graydon Keeton.

Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Judith Fee; her son Ned Job (Julia), of Knoxville;
seven grandchildren, Sally Job, David Job (Marinke), Alex Job (Jeannie), Stuart
Job (Holli), Susan Hollingshead (Jamie), Amy Fee Wesner (Tom), and Curt Fee (Troy)
and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial funeral service was held Nov. 10 at the First
United Methodist Church in Knoxville, with Rev. Neil Montz officiating. Interment
was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
