Funeral services for Mrs. Zella Frances (Vernon) Bradford, who died May 30, 1968 at Collins Memorial
Hospital, were held June 3 from Bybee & Davis funeral home with Rev. William Travis
officiating. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dale Wolf, Bob Smith,
David Amos, Keith Bradford, Dallas Bradford and Clyde Kirkwood. Chapel music was
provided.
Zella F., daughter of Harley and Ruby Ephrum Vernon, was born April 9,
1926 in Knoxville and graduated from high school here in 1943.
She was employed
at Continental Manufacturing Company and later worked in the Social Welfare Office
as a case worker. She was a member of First Christian Church and the American
Legion Auxiliary.
Her mother preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Andrew;
her father; and one brother Leonard Vernon stationed in Vietnam.
