Funeral services for Wilma Pieratt Mason, 81, of Russell, died of a stroke Saturday, March 31, 2001, at Lucas County Health Center, were held on Tuesday, April 3, at Fielding Funeral Home.
Rev. Bill Kerns officiated at the services.
Interment was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Wilma was born on March 26, 1920, in Des Moines and had lived most of her life in Lucas County. She was the daughter of Florence Bagley and Steven Watkins.
She married Ray Mason on December 26, 1997. She had worked
for Contel in Chariton for 32 years. She attended Christian Church Disciples of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Mason; a daughter, Barb Crozier of Knoxville, and five grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements were made by Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton.
