Services for Willard Carl Randol, 76, of Independence, Mo., who died on Saturday,
November 4, 2000, at The Groves in Independence, were held on Wednesday, November
8, at the Rosewood Chapel. Interment was at Rosehill Cemetery in Lamoni.

Willard
was born on January 4, 1924 in Knoxville to Carl William Randol and Laura Sidney
Murphy. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He received a degree as a C.P.A.
and worked for the Internal Revenue Service while attending Drake University to
earn his law degree.

After graduating with honors, he practiced law in Des Moines
until 1973. Following his successful law practice, he and his family moved to Independence,
Mo. to establish an estate planning division of the Reorganized Church of Jesus
Christ of LattereDay Saints.

His life was dedicated to helping others. Willard served
as a High Priest in the RLDS Church, past president of the Independence Lion's Club,
and Boy Scout Leader and baseball coach for many years as his sons were growing
up. He enjoyed taking his family to Canada to fish and spend time together in nature.
Willard was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Warren Lee, Wesley
Duane and Wiley O'Dell.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Anna Thomas Randol, three
sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Carl and Betty Randol of Independence, Mo., Douglas
Thomas and Fiona Randol of Olympia, Wash. and Jeffrey David and Terri Randol of
Solabury, Pa.; seven grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; a sister-in-law,
LaVars Randol; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to The Groves.
