DAVENPORT — Services for Marie and Marvin Seward will be 11 a.m. Friday at Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, Ill. Visitation is two hours before the service. Burial will be in Viola (Ill.) Cemetery.
Marie Theo (Shimp) Seward, 96, Davenport, formerly of Eldridge, Iowa, Viola, and Vista, Calif., died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2002, at Aledo Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Seward died April 28, 1994, in California.
Marie Shimp was born Aug. 17, 1906, in Lucas County, Iowa. He was born March 17, 1902,
in Keokuk, Iowa. They were married in 1932 in Davenport.
Survivors include daughters, Lola Flores, Viola, and Carol Thompson, Eldridge; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cleo Copp, Downers Grove, Ill.
