Memorial services for Frank A. Martin , 63, and Helen M. Martin 68, of Knoxville, who died July 15, 1984 and Feb. 26, 1985, respectively, at Knoxville Area community Hospital were held March 1 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home. The bodies were donated to science.

Rev. William Travis officiated at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and James Koonce, soloist.
Mr. Martin was born on July 5, 1911 in Marion County, the son of
Charles and Mattie Knight Martin. He attended Knoxville Schools and was a paint foreman at the VA Medical Center until his retirement in 1976.

Mrs. Martin was born on May 4, 1916 in Marion County, the daughter of Sam and Rosa (Brubaker) Ridnouer, she was a homemaker.

The Martins were married on July 1939 and lived most of their married life in Knoxville.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his parents.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Lowell; and her husband.

Mr. Martin is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Jeri) Littlejohn of Oskaloosa; one brother, Idris of Knoxville and two sisters, Rita VanZante of Pella and Mrs. Don Murr of Columbia.
Mrs. Martin is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Jeri) Littlejohn, of Oskaloosa; one brother, RV of Knoxville; and two sisters in-laws. Mrs. D.V. Ridnouer and Frances Ridnouer.

Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Society and the Heart Fund.
