Services for Dolores Marie Roberts, 48, of Marshalltown, who died April 12, at
University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, in Iowa City, was held on April 15, 1994,
at the Center Street Baptist Church, in Marshalltown. Burial was at Vienna Cemetery
in Beamon.
Dolores was born September 16, 1945, in Knoxville, the daughter of Leland
and Ethyl Fletcher Roberts. She was raised in Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville
High School. She worked at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital as a pharmacy technician
until she moved to Marshalltown in 1984.
She was a member of the Center Street Baptist
Church in Marshalltown. She was united in marriage to B. Wayne Roberts on April
5, 1964.
She was preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter. She is
survived by her husband B. Wayne, of Marshalltown; her mother, Ethyl Roberts of Knoxville; two daughters, Rhona Pierson, of Omaha, Neb., and Lisa Roberts, of Marshalltown;
a brother, C. Wayne Roberts of Knoxville, and two grandchildren.
A memorial fund
has been established by the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Arrangements were made
by Pursel-Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
