Barbara Jean (McConville) Conaway, 68, of the 2100 block of 52nd Street in Des Moines, Iowa
died of cancer on July 4, 2001, in Columbus, Ohio.
The body was cremated, and memorial services were held on July 8, 2001, at the Botanical Center in Des Moines.
Mrs. Conaway was born in Centerville and had lived in Des Moines most of her life. She was a homemaker and retired from Amoco Transacard Services in 1996. She enjoyed activities with her friends and family.
She is survived by two sons, Brian of Columbus, Ohio, and Mark of Des Moines; a daughter, Elizabeth Conaway, a sister, Mary Jane Salgado of Waukee; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas.
