Kathleen Alyce (Osborn) Loreto, a longtime resident of Westhampton Beach and Brooklyn, died
on August 1, 2017. She was 84.

Born in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas Sumner Osborn b. Nov 14, 1904 d.April 17, 1959, and Lillian Kissinger.
She moved to New York City in 1952. She began an exciting career at CBS working on the Robert Q. Lewis and Arthur Godfrey shows, where she met her husband, CBS cameraman Alfred Loreto. They married in January 1955. Kathleen Osborn

After having three children, Ms. Loreto worked at The Brooklyn Friends School for 14 years. With the kids grown, she returned to the career she loved most: television. She worked for 22 years as the executive assistant to producer Robert Halmi Sr. at RHI Entertainment, retiring in 2010 at age 77.

Survivors said she loved nothing more than her work, her family, being a New Yorker, and tending her garden.

She is survived by three children, Charles Loreto, Elizabeth Radcliffe, and Emily O’Connor; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Margaret Goff of Knoxville, Iowa.
