Services for Zelma (Crozier) Shotwell, 74, of Knoxville, who died May 19, 1984 at Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held May 23 at First United Methodist Church. Evans-McCleery Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Wayne K. Hoehns officiated at the services. Music was provided by Jim Kidder, organist, and John Crawford, soloist.
Pallbearers were Leland Crozier, Paul Popma, Jack Onstank, Gloyd Carter, Richard Sparks, and Leland Robinson.
Mrs. Shotwell was born on July 3, 1909 in Knoxville, the daughter of Fred and Grace Baughman Crozier.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1928. On July 6, 1930 she married Floyd Shotwell in Davenport.
She, taught school in Harvey for several years. She was a 50 year member of the First United Methodist Church, a 30 year member of the AmVets Volunteer Service, Past president of the Marion County Democratic Party, and for the last several years served as secretary of the Greenwood Cemetery Association.
She was; preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother; and one sister.
She is survived by two sons,. Marvin of Evergreen, Col and Vernon of Miami Lakes, Fla., six grand-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Howard, of Tracy memorial has been established to the Methodist Church Radio Ministry.
