Services for Wallace Lester West, 67, who died February 7, 1981 at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, were held February 9 at the Presbyterian Church.
Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Breckenridge Cemetery, Marion County.

Rev. Kenneth MacLeod officiated at the service.
Music was provided by James Kidder, organist and John Crawford, vocalist.

Pallbearers were Terry Harvey, Danny Harvey, Randy Fields, Don Hiatt, Cecil Harry and Bill Berger.
Honorary pallbearers were Worth Stroud, Thurman Floyd, Frank Spence, Idris Martin, Bill Wainer and Charles Barnes.

Mr. West was born April 15, 1913 in Knoxville, the son of Mary Etta Wallace and Fred West.

He was married to Frieda Harvey on December 8, 1945 at her parents home near Knoxville.
He worked as a carpenter and a farmer.

He served for three years in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Frieda of Route 1, Knoxville; three daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Janet) Westberg of Rte. 1, Knoxville, Mrs. Ron (Mary Ann) Sterling of Pella and
Mrs. Craig (Beth) Augspurger of Rte 1, Knoxville; and four grandchildren.
