Services for Edith Nadine Hamilton Kenney, 68, who died February 13, 1981 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Des Moines, were held February 17, 1981 at Peterson Funeral Home, Indianola.

Interment was in Indianola IOOF Cemetery. Rev. Stan Woeste officiated at the service.

Mrs. Kenney was born June 27, 1912 near Knoxville, the daughter of James and Lacy Hamilton.

She was married to Nolan Kenney on June 12, 1932.

She lived in Indianola for 28 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church and the South Jefferson birthday Club, and served several years as a troop leader coordinator for Girl Scouts of America.

For the past seven years she worked as a Homemaker Health Aid.

He was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nolan in 1961, a sister in childhood and twin brother and sister in infancy.

She is survived by her son, Louis of Indianola two daughters, Mrs. Bill (LaVon) King of Indianola and Mrs. Marvin (Linnae) Coker of Manhattan, Kansas; five grandchildren; two brothers, Rex Hamilton of Knoxville and William Hamilton of Des Moines.
