Services for Thomas H. McNeish, 79, of Knoxville, who died July 16, 1985 at Knoxville
Area Community Hospital of a heart attack, were held July 18 at Bybee and Davis
Funeral Home.

Interment was in Olive Chapel Cemetery. Revs. K. Wayne Hoehns and John Beebout officiated
at the services. Music was provided by James Kidder, organist, and John Crawford,
soloist.

Pallbearers were Rubert Moon, Phil Landsperger, Wayne Sutherland, Leland Robinson,
Charles Varley, and Dwight Johnston.

McNeish was born on April 8, 1906 at Pekay, the son of William and Susan Izett McNeish.
Moving to Knoxville in 1910, he graduated from Knoxville High School in 1925.

In 1928 he was employed by Iowa Power and Light Company, and retired in 1968 after
40 years of service.

On Oct. 26, 1941 at Unionville, Mo., he married Pauline Line. He was a member of
the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville and I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 90.

He was preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers, and one sister. He is survived
by his wife and six nieces and nephews.

Memorials have been established to the First United Methodist Church of Knoxville
and Olive Chapel Methodist Church.
