A visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Shawn will be interred at a later date in Lincoln Cemetery.

Shawn was born on July 8, 1985, to Douglas and Sheri (Wares) Weihs.

He attended Knoxville High School, graduating with the Class of 2004.

Shawn was born deaf, but he never let this get in the way of his exceptional sense of humor.
He was always doing something crazy to get a good laugh out of people. Shawn had enough energy to light up any room.

He kept with the Weihs family tradition of fishing whenever he could. He also enjoyed watching his Chicago Cubs and Kansas City Chiefs.

One of the most amazing aspects of Shawn’s life was his love for music.

He did not let the fact that he was deaf keep him from enjoying one of life’s greatest pleasures.
The vibration produced by the music allowed him to enjoy the songs, and he even enjoyed many concerts over the years!
