Sarah Colleen (Cecil) Dailey was born on March 18, 1933, in Pershing, Iowa, the daughter of Clark Roswell and Goldie Bearl (Sparks) Cecil. She grew up in Pershing and graduated from Knoxville High School.
Sarah was united in marriage to Merle Eugene Dailey on May 13, 1951, in Knoxville.

Later she became a Medical Aide and would work with the Veterans at the Knoxville Rest Home.
Sarah attended Riverside Community Church with her daughters. She liked fishing, playing bingo, and going to the casinos. Merle and Sarah also loved to dance. Most of all, she loved spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Sarah passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at the Knoxville Hospital at the age of 81 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle; four brothers; seven sisters; and a granddaughter, Miranda.
