Samuel Mark Ridnouer age 28 of Knoxville, IA passed away Monday, April 16, 2018, in Knoxville, Iowa.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. with family present from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 23, 2018, at the Celebrate Community Church of Knoxville.
Sam Mark Ridnouer was born on October 31, 1989, in Des Moines, Iowa. He is the son of Dave and Lisa (Gotta) Ridnouer.
Sam graduated from Knoxville High School, Class of 2008. During high school, he ran cross country and track and worked part-time at the Dairy Queen. Sam was always known for being a very nice and polite kid throughout the school.
Following high school, Sam attended Indian Hills Community College and where he received a degree in Network Administration and Security. After college, he worked for Wells Fargo for a year, McCamish Systems in Des Moines, and later Sam also held many jobs around the area.
Sam enjoyed playing video games in his free time. He had a great love for children, and he would take impromptu long-distance road trips. Sam also had a love and respect for animals; especially his family pets: Daiquiri Kade and Max.
Sam is survived by his parents, Dave and Lisa Ridnouer; sister, Emma Ridnouer and fiancé, Devin Kline; niece, Chloe Jayne Kline; his grandmother Linda Gotta; two aunts, Val Gotta and Paula Eifler; and three uncles, Tim Gotta, John Gotta, and Dan Ridnouer.
Sam is proceeded in death by his grandparents, D.V. and Barbara Ridnouer; grandfather, Harold Gotta; and one uncle, Steve Gotta.
