Sam Coe, 21-year-old Dunreath farmer, died Tuesday morning at the Mater hospital after a two weeks illness from lobar
pneumonia. The young man had suffered a heart attack last winter which left him in poor health. When he was suddenly stricken with pneumonia he was brought to the hospital and showed some improvement to the treatment.
Last Saturday, however, he suffered a relapse and passed away.
Coe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Coe, was born February 12, 1916, graduated with Knoxville Class of 1932.
As he was the only child he lived with his mother and spent his entire life in the Dunreath community.
The funeral services will be held this afternoon at the Dun.- reath church and burial will be in the Dunreath cemetery.
Mr. Coe was a nephew of Mrs. M. L. Price and Mrs. L. R. Buttrey of this city, being a son of their youngest brother the late Sam Coe.
