Sally Jane (Drake) Bergendahl, 90, of Naperville, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017.
She was born on Feb. 1, 1927, in Burlington, Iowa. Sarah was a member of the Fort Payne Chapter of DAR Chapter Nebraska, P.E.O., and Naperville Congregational Church.
Sarah is survived by her loving daughters, Jane Bergendahl (Nancy Shannon) of Long Grove and Donna (Rick) Walt, of Naperville; grandchildren, Rich Walt (Katie DeBoard), of Naperville, and Julie Walt, of Chicago; great-grandson, Lucas; sisters, Mary Ann Ryan, of Wapello, Iowa and Susan Scott of Aurora, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Bergendahl, and parents, Wilbur and Bertha (Logsdon) Drake.
Memorial visitation will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 23, until the time of service at 2:30 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville. Burial service will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 24, at the Wapello (Iowa) Cemetery. Memorials in Sarah’s name may be made to the American Lung Association.
