A Memorial Service for Ruth Anna (Hart) Perkey, 81 of Tuscon Arizona formerly of Otley, who
died December 1 at St. Joseph's Carondelet Hospital, was held December 15, 1999
at Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella. Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Rev Lynn Elrod officiated at the service.
Ruth was born March 24, 1918 in Cordova,
Iowa the daughter of Ralph M. and Ethel Mae (DeMoss) Hart. She spent most of her
life in the Otley and Knoxville areas and the past three years in Tuscon.
On March
26, 1937 Ruth was united in marriage to Charles L. Perkey in Knoxville. Ruth was
a member of the Catalina Baptist Church in Tuscon.
She was preceded in death by
her parents. She is survived by her husband of Tuscon, one daughter Charlotte N
McGill of Tuscon, one son Arlyn W. Perkey of Morgantown, West Virginia, one sister
Madge Stanton of Mesa, Arizona, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
