Services for Ruth C. (Craig) Kamerick, 83, of Knoxville, who died may 29, 1984 at Griffin Nursing Center, were held June 1 at Evans McCleery Funeral Home.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. Wayne Hoehns officiated at the services. Music was provided by Jim Kidder, organist, and John Crawford, soloist.
Pallbearers were Dick Dwigans, Robert McClung, Bill Goff, Graham Fee, Ralph Capitani, and Ned Job.
Mrs. Kamerick was born on March 13, 1901 in Marion County, the daughter of Charles O. and Lillie Bonebrake Craig.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1918 and attended the University of Iowa for two years. She worked for Underhill & Keller in Knoxville as a secretary until she married John M. Kamerick in 1925.
She was a Charter Member of Mentor Study Club, and a member of the D.A.R., Chapter M P.E.O., and the Women's Society of the First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
She is survived by one son, John O., of Knoxville; one daughter, Mrs. L.A. (Dorothy) Heuer of Evanston, Ill.; one sister, Hazel Craig of Knoxville; four grandchildren; and one nephew.
A memorial has been established to the First United Methodist Church Radio Ministry.
