Funeral service for Ruby Maxine (Jones) Stephenson, 45, who died May 16, 1970 at her home, were held May 19 from Williams Funeral Home with Rev. William Travis officiating.
The burial was in Graceland Cemetery. Casketbearers were Jerry Jones, Larry Jones, Donald
Jones, Jerry Tedwell, Kenneth DeZwarte and Burdette DeZwarte.
Ruby Maxine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Jones, was born May 4, 1925, at Columbia
and spent her entire life in the Columbia and Knoxville areas.
On June 14, 1942, she was married to Paul Stephenson.
She is survived by her husband; parents; two children, Mrs. Jerry (Kathryn) DeJoode
and Richard Stephenson; two grandchildren; four brothers. Clifford, Clinton, Raymond, and Gerald of Knoxville; and one sister Mrs. Paul (Erma) Sevedge of Des Moines.
