Ronald C. Morse was born in Knoxville, Iowa on April 30, 1934 to Clyde and Anna (Burch) Morse.

Ron married Jerry Allen on July 17, 1952. To this union, they were blessed with four boys Larry, Randy, Mike, and Jeff. They later divorced.

On June 25, 1983, Ronald and Carol Schroeder were united in marriage. They were blessed with 27 years of marriage, preceding his death.

Ron owned and operated the Morse Locker in Knoxville and for a short time in Melcher-Dallas. He also worked for UPS for several years. In 1997 Ron and Carol moved to Tennessee and Ron worked for Honda until his retirement in 2001. Ron enjoyed playing pool and antique cars. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Luminary Methodist Church, both of Kingston.

Ronald passed away on Friday, November 5, 2010, at his residence in Kingston, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, five months, and 6 days. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Anna.

Ron is survived by his wife Carol Morse of Kingston, TN; his children Larry Morse, Randy (Marta) Morse, Mike (Rachael) Morse, and Jeff (Kris)
Morse all of Knoxville; two step-daughters Carrie Braasch of Davenport and Sara
(Louie) Mihal of Tacoma, WA; 5 grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Ron is also survived by one sister June (Bob) Burton of Knoxville; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Winfield-Evans-McCleery Funeral Home in Knoxville, with Bill McDonald officiating.

Burial will follow services at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation with Ronald’s family present will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time also Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Winfield-Evans-McCleery Funeral Home in Knoxville.

A memorial has been established to the family or Dollars for Scholars of Knoxville.
