Funeral services for Ronald Ray Jordan, 55, who died Jan. 2, 2004, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, were held Jan. 5, at Williams Funeral Home.
Pastor John Claussen officiated at the services. Music was provided by Jim Kidder, vocalist, and Janet Westberg, organist.
Interment was at Lincoln Cemetery in rural Marion County.
Casketbearers were Danny Jordan, Denny Jordan, Gary Jordan, Larry Jordan, Rodney Jordan, and RogerJordan.
Ron was born on Aug. 30, 1948, in St. Charles, one of three children born to Loretta Maxine Bachman and Raymond Chester Jordan.
He attended Knoxville Schools and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1966. He graduated from William Penn College in Oskaloosa in 1972.
He served several years in the Iowa National Guard. On Nov. 2, 1979, married Susan Inglebright.
To this union, two sons were born.
He is survived by two sons, Brett Jordan of Stewart and Ross Jordan of Clive; his mother, Loretta Jordan of Huxley, formerly of Knoxville; a sister, Linda Jones of Ankeny; a niece, Kristin Shelton of Huxley; and a nephew, Kevin Jones of Ankeny.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Diana.
