Dr. Raymond Gene AHN, 61, chiropractor, 70050 S. Centreville Road, died Oct. 18, 1989, at his home in Sturgis, Michigan, St. Joseph County.
He was born Oct. 14, 1928, in Albia, Iowa, the son of Floyd Otis Ahn (1904 – 1979) and Bernice Fry (1909 – 1985.) On Oct. 10, 1953, he married Evelyn Taylor, in Crown Pointe, Ind.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended Ohio State University. He graduated in 1958 from Palmer College Chiropractors, Davenport, Iowa. He was a Sturgis resident for the past 27 years and a member of the First Baptist Church.
He had his chiropractic practice in Sturgis for the past 27 years.
Surviving is his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Mark (Janet) ALLRED, Sturgis; one son, Benjamin AHN, Zanesville, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Valerie and Christopher AHN, both of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. The location of the ashes is unknown. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Foglesong Funeral Home, Sturgis, with the Rev. Millard Poppy officiating.
