Phillip Crouch, son of Emmet and Martha Crouch, was born Aug. 18, 1907, in Knoxville, and died Oct. 8 at Knoxville at the age of 55 years.
He attended grade school in the Washington community; northeast of Knoxville and graduated from Knoxville High school.
He lived his entire life in Marion County. He was a member of First Methodist Church and an active member of Odd Fellows lodge 90.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister and a brother. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mattie Crouch of Knoxville; and sister, Mrs. Corwin Overton of Farmington, Mich.
Funeral services were held from Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville on Oct. 11 with Rev. Carl E. Wilson officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
