Services for Pauline G. Fath, 63, of 3846 N. Union St. who died of a heart ailment Sunday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mels Catholic Church with burial at Glendale Cemetery.

Born in Knoxville, Mrs. Fath lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She was a registered nurse at Veterans Administration Medical Center before retiring in 1969.

A graduate of the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, she was member of St. Mels Catholic Church, the Dowling Club, the Women's Philatelic Society, Mercy Hospital Guild, the Mercy Hospital Alumni Association and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include a son J.R. "Dick" Fath of Des Moines; a sister, Helen Walcott of Salt Lake City, Utah; seven grandchildren; and two great-grand-children.

A rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Dunn's Funeral Home. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Dunn's.

Interment Glendale Cemetery. Des Moines, Iowa.

The family suggest that any memorial contributions may be made to All Saints and St. Mels Catholic Church pastoral care.
