Newton Clay Burch III. Bud, 95, died peacefully at home on March 24, 2021. Born on October 5, 1925, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Ruth (Foote) and Newton C Burch II.
Bud served in the Navy during WWII. Bud attended Drake University and later The Art Institute of Chicago.
Bud worked for the State of Iowa as an artist for 25 years. After Bud retired he became a Cartoonist.
Married 57 years to Betsy they were inseparable. Bud had 4 sons-Reggie (Richmond VA), John (Aurora CO, Karl (Karen) (Denver CO), and James (Porjai) also living in Denver.
Bud also had 4 daughters: Marcia, Barbara (Mike) Lowe both deceased, Kimberly Kay (William) Hudash in Des Moines, and Julia (Steven) Vanderzyl from Pella.
