Funeral services for Nancy Jo (Jacobs) Hotovec, 44, of Oskaloosa, who died June 1, 1995,
at the Iowa Methodist Medical center in Des Moines, were held June 5, 1995, at First
Assembly of God Church in Oskaloosa, with Rev. Harold Schutte officiating. Burial
was at the Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa.
Nancy was born April 28, 1951, in Knoxville,
the daughter of Leo and Helen Shoop Jacobs. She graduated from Knoxville High School
in 1969.
She was united in marriage to Ronald J. Hotovec at the First Babtist Church
in Knoxville. The couple moved to Oskaloosa in 1980. She was a member of the First
Assembly of God Church in Oskaloosa, and was employed as a secretary of the church.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Ron of
Oskaloosa; two daughters, Jacquie Hotovec of Des Moines, and Lori Hotovec of Oskaloosa;
and her mother, Helen Jacobs of Knoxville.
Memorials may be made to the Ecumenical
Food Cupboard in Oskaloosa. Arrangements were made by Bates Funeral Chapel, in Oskaloosa.
