Michelle Lynn (Vande Kamp) Brees, age 48, formerly of Knoxville, Iowa, was born August 30, 1968, and passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Serenity House of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Michelle’s wishes were to be cremated and a visitation for Michelle will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at the Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville, with Michelle’s family present from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
A memorial service for Michelle will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Winfield Funeral Home, with Swann Juline officiating.
Michelle is survived by her husband Bryan Brees and their two children, Joshua Brees and Abby Brees, all of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Michelle is also survived by her two brothers Tony Brown of Pleasantville and Monte Brown of Knoxville; one sister Melissa Brown of Oskaloosa; and 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded by her parents Roger and Patty Brown; her grandparents, Glenn and Bernita Vande Kamp and Ralph and Berniece Brown; and her daughter Haley Noel Brees.
A memorial has been established in Michelle’s memory to her family or the Serenity House of Oskaloosa.
