Services for Mark B. Eller, 25, Des Moines, who died September 27, 1983 at his home,
were held September 29 at St. Anthony's Church. Williams Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Revs. Philip Ryan, Andrew
Kelly, and Kenneth MacLeod officiated at the services. Music was provided by Mary
Stults, organist, and St. Anthony's Adult Choir. Pallbearers were George Andrews,
Robert Ashton, Dale Huss, Bill Nelson, Brian McClatchey, and Paul Giehl.
Mr. Eller
was born on July 17, 1958 in Knoxville, the son of Theodore Winthrop and Caroline
Lucille Saner Eller. He was a 1977 graduate of Knoxville High School and a 1981
graduate of the University of Iowa. He was employed by Midwest Telephone Company
in Des Moines.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. T. W. Eller of Knoxville;
two brothers, Dr. T. W., Jr. of Chicago, Ill. and John of Des Moines; and four sisters,
Mrs. Dale (Nancy) Hess of Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Bill (Katie) Nelson of Knoxville, Mrs.
Brian (Pat) McClatchey of Ft. Dodge, and Mrs. Paul (Lucy) Giehl of Mt. Pleasant.
A memorial has been established for the Big Brothers of America.
