Marjorie Lyndall (Wilbur) Weider, 92, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Wesley Acres. Services will be held 1 pm Saturday, January 27, 2018, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa.

Marjorie was born June 28, 1925, in Melcher, IA, to Pearl and Bytha (Kirtley) Wilbur. She was the youngest Wilbur girl. Marjorie was a 1943 graduate of Knoxville High School and a 1946 graduate of Iowa Methodist School of Nursing. She married Philip Weider on October 6, 1952, in Knoxville, IA, and together they made their home in Des Moines, IA.

She worked as a Nurse Practitioner for 20 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Acanthus Eastern Star, St. Andrews Episcopal Church, IPA Auxiliary, and the Iowa Methodist Alumni Association.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Betsie Weider (J Fink) of Bondurant, IA, and Susan L. Weider (Sharon Dutton) of Brier, WA; grandchildren, Keith (Jillian) Fink of Newton, IA, Christopher (Kristen) Fink of Skopje, Macedonia, and Melissa (Justin) Cornwell of Elkhart, IA; great-grandchildren, Drake Cornwell, Avery Cornwell, and Khloe Fink; daughter in law, Tammy Weider.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip P. Weider (2005); son, Philip A. Weider (2017); sisters, Ardella Harrington and Elizabeth Kelly; and parents.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm – 1 pm Saturday, January 27, 2018, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
