Linda Louise (Barghahn) Frobom, 53, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died of cancer there, March 13, in Lincoln. Services were held March 16, 1994, at St. Marks United Methodist Church, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mrs. Frobom was a Grinnell native and lived in Indianola until about 30 years ago.
Additional services will be held at Belmont Funeral Home in Henning, Minnesota, on March 19. Burial was at Leaf Lake Finnish Cemetery in Ottertail County, Minnesota.
Linda was born October 24, 1940, in Grinnell, the daughter of Kenneth and Marie (Oehler) Barghahn and graduated from high school in Knoxville, Iowa and from Simpson College in Indianola.
She was united in marriage to Jerome Frobom on August 13, 1967 at the Methodist church in Knoxville.
She was a former daycare provider, and kindergarten teacher in Beloit, Wis. and Zion, Ill. She was a former employee of Eagle Tribune newspaper in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Neb., a charter member of P.E.O. Chapter AQ, in Cheyenne, Wyo., and a member of P.E.O. Chapter GQ, in Lincoln, Neb.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Barghahn, of Knoxville; her husband, Jerry; a son, Jon, of Lincoln, Neb.; a daughter Jenny Dwiggins of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Bruce Barghahn, of Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Diane Wildblood, of Cincinnati, Ohio.
