LaDonna Kaye (Rankin) Godfrey, 49, of Bussey, Iowa died Saturday, April 15, 1995, at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital.
LaDonna was born October 13, 1945, in Knoxville, the daughter of Laverne and Louise Jones Rankin. She had worked at 3M company in Knoxville for many years.
On December 4, 1965, she was united in marriage to Alvin Willert Godfrey (1945 – 2003).
Survivors include her husband of Bussey; her parents; one son – Alvin L. Godfrey of Bussey; three daughters, Kimberly Gomez of San Angelo, Texas, and Karen Godfrey and Kristine Godfrey, both of Bussey; her brothers and sisters, Lyle Rankin of Pella, Loren Rankin (b.1957-d.2011) of Pershing, Laurette Utterback of Des Moines, Linda Steenhoek of Henderson, Nev., Lori, Lana, and Lynette Rankin, all of Knoxville; and three grandchildren.
The Gilbert-Nordstrom Funeral Home in Bussey was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
