Ken Rolland Reynolds was born February 16, 1937 in Knoxville, Iowa the son of Corwin and Maxine (Brady) Reynolds.
He graduated from Knoxville High School and then attended William Penn University. He also worked for his brother, Burl at Strasburger’s and served six years in the Army Reserve. Following graduation, he worked at the V.A. Hospital in Des Moines for 6 months before transferring to Knoxville V.A.
On July 23, 1961, he was united in marriage to his wife Linda. Linda passed away in
1975. Ken retired in 1993 as a recreational therapist. In his spare time, Ken enjoyed
hunting and fishing.
Ken passed away on Monday, January 12, 2009, at the Iowa Methodist Hospital at the age of 71 years, 10 months, and 27 days. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Burl, and wife, Linda. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Mavin (John) and two sons, Scott Reynolds (Cheri) and Sean Reynolds all of Knoxville; 5 grandchildren and a niece and nephew.
