Kathleen Ann Reimer, 40, of 446 29th St. Des Moines, Iowa, died of a brain aneurysm Monday, April 9, 1990, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Ms. Reimer was born on March 3, 1950 in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Ceaser Reimer. She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1968, from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Ind.
In 1971, and received her law degree from Drake University in 1974.
Miss Reimer, a labor relations attorney in private praice had moved to Des Moines 19 years ago.

She had practiced labor law in Des Moines since 1976, served on the National Labor Relations Board and on the Board of Goodwill Industries in Des Moines.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville, with burial in Graceland Cemetery there.

Surviving are her parents, Charles and Dorothy Reimer of Knoxville; and three sisters, Margaret Gregory of Green River, Wyo., Charlene of Knoxville and Christine Preston of McFarland, Wis.

Evans-McCleery Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Rev. K. Wayne Hoehns officiated at the services.

Music was provided by Linda Gehling, organist, and John Crawford, soloist. Pallbearers were Richard Swarm, Richard Petersen, Dennis Peterson, Steve Bakke, Dennis Preston, Doug Hicks, Jim Swanger, and Dennis Ackley

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

She is survived by her parents of Knoxville; and three sisters,
Margaret Gregory of Green River, Wyo., Charlene Reimer of Knoxville, and Christine Preston of McFarland, Wisc.

A memorial has been established to the Kathleen A. Reimer
Memorial Fund at Drake University Law School.
